Put the white balls in your field. Then search and destroy your opponents ships in their box! White balls = Boats. Blue balls = Water/Miss. Red balls = Hit/Sunk. There are 5 different ships: Mothership (5 balls), Battleship (4 balls), Submarine/Destroyer (3 balls each), Boat (2 balls). Enjoy!
